Salah (Prayer) is the second of the Five Pillars of Islam. It is the belief that Muslims should pray five times each day. Prayer is important as it allows Muslims to communicate with Allah.
5-7 is a good age for children to practice to pray as much as they can. No doubt prayer becomes obligatory only once the children are 7 years of age. That is the age when they are more willing to pray actually, so we teach them how they pray correctly including wudu, reading the Qur’an, and memorizing the tashahhud.
